Children's Discovery Garden allows kids to explore different habitat areas as well as caves and a wading creek with a waterfall. Hike along the Stillwater River Trail and Marie Aull Nature Trail for beautiful views of vegetation that change along with the seasons. Hours are 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily until 10/1, when closing time moves to 8 p.m.

As signs of fall start appearing all around, it's time to head to Tom's Maze & Pumpkin Farm, just minutes from Germantown homes for sale. 2024 marks the 27th year of families trying to solve the puzzle of Tom's eight-acre corn maze. One of the fondest food dreams of every child (and many adults) comes true at the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival. The popular snack is highlighted in a wide range of flavors, as well as in unique treats such as cheesy popcorn pizza, popcorn ice cream, and popcorn burgers. More than 200 booths feature additional foods and beverages along with gift items and information about local services and community organizations. Other activities include a 5K fun run, live music and dance performances, a car show, and a Kidz Area. Stop by after a day of viewing Beavercreek homes for sale. The museum's latest exhibit is the Paleo Lab, where visitors can watch paleontologists articulate the skeleton of a hadrosaur that was unearthed in South Dakota. "Adopt" a river otter, desert tortoise, or turkey vulture at Discovery Zoo and watch thrilling planetarium shows in the Caryl D. Phillips Space Theater. Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily except Sunday when doors open at noon. Admission is $12-$15.
