A stop at Carillon Brewing Co. is the perfect way to relax and recharge during your visit to Carillon Historical Park. Everything about this facility, from the building to the brewing process and dining menu, is designed to mimic what you'd have experienced if you visited Dayton for a meal in the 1850s. The food and beer are prepared with recipes authentic to the time period and crafted by hand using handmade equipment appropriate to the 1800s. Admission to Carillon Brewing Co. is free, even if you haven't purchased a ticket to see the rest of Carillon Historical Park.
Hawthorn Hill – 1000 Carillon Blvd., Dayton, OH 45409
Hawthorn Hill was the long-time residence of one of Dayton's most famous residents, Orville Wright, along with his younger sister Katherine Wright and father Milton Wright. Tours of this famous home are available today and while Hawthorn Hill is not located at Carillon Historical Park, the shuttle buses for the tour do leave from there. Once you step off of the shuttle, you'll be treated to an exploration of a beautiful home that was completed in 1914, where the Wright family welcomed legendary figures like Thomas Edison and Charles Lindbergh for visits.
Patterson Homestead – 1815 Brown St., Dayton, OH 45409
Colonel Robert Patterson was a true legend, serving in the Revolutionary War before going on to play a key role in the founding of Lexington, Kentucky, and Cincinnati. He later settled on the Patterson Homestead in Dayton, where many generations of the family would later live. These included industrialist John H. Patterson, who founded the National Cash Register, one of Dayton's largest historic companies. Tours of Patterson Homestead are available by appointment through Dayton History.

Located just outside of Dayton, Mound Cold War Discovery Center sheds light on more modern aspects of local history during the Nuclear Age, Cold War, and Space Race.
