  After that, head to Rotary Park at the address above for a family-friendly celebration featuring live music from Velvet Crush on an all-new, larger concert stage, dozens of fantastic food trucks, and tons of fun inflatables and activities for kids. The evening wraps up with a spectacular fireworks show beginning at 10:00 PM, with great views from Rotary Park.

• Americana Festival 5K – 500 E. Franklin St., Centerville, OH 45458
  In the mood for a fun, healthy way to start your day on the Fourth of July? The Americana Festival 5K has long been a tradition in Centerville, and you can participate this year with online sign-ups available right up until the day of the race. The run begins and ends at Centerville High School Stadium, with a route that winds through the community. It all takes place at 7:00 AM on July 4, 2025, with awards to follow after the race.

• Americana Festival Street Fair – Main St., Centerville, OH 45458
  If you visit Centerville for the 5K, you might enjoy sticking around for the Americana Festival Street Fair, which features a vendor village, tons of food, live entertainment, and special zones filled with activities for kids. The fair is open from 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM on July 4, 2025, leaving your evening free for further celebrations.

• Star Spangled Heights Parade & Celebration – 4707 Brandt Pike, Huber Heights, OH 45424
  Why not start your Fourth of July celebration a week early? The Star Spangled Heights Parade & Celebration in Huber Heights always takes place the week before the Fourth of July, which this year falls on June 28, 2025. It still features everything you love about Fourth of July Celebrations, including a parade, family festival, food trucks, and an artisan marketplace, which will be newly updated this year. While fireworks for this year haven't been officially announced just yet, the city's fireworks display is typically timed at the end of the Star Spangled Heights Parade & Celebration.

• Lights in Flight Fireworks – 444 N. Bend Blvd., Dayton, OH 45404
  If your kids love fireworks so much that they want to see two shows, Dayton's Lights in Flight Fireworks take place on July 3, 2025, leaving room for another celebration the next day. The official viewing area for the event is at Kettering Field, with excellent views available from that location and no admission cost. The fireworks are set to begin at 10:00 PM, though organizers do recommend arriving early.
