  For more than 20 years, the Dayton Celtic Festival has been a fun, family-friendly event featuring live music, Irish culture, a fantastic vendor market, outstanding food, and so much more. Additional activities include a 5K & 10K run, an Irish piping workshop, a wide range of interesting, educational workshops, rugby from the Dayton Area Rugby Teams organization, Gaelic language lessons, and cultural performances. The event is free to attend as always, with three full days of fun from July 25-27, 2025, at RiverScape Park.

• Art in the City – Downtown Dayton, OH
  Another family-friendly event that mixes live performances, arts & crafts markets, educational, interactive art activities, and plenty more, Art in the City returns to multiple locations around Downtown Dayton on August 2, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM. In addition to live concerts, performances include dance and theater. This year's Art in the City includes a new event, The Great Dayton Cake Off, as well as a juried art show, local art bazaar, and live art demonstrations. There's also a special Family Zone packed with kid-friendly art activities that are perfect for a family day out at Art in the City.

• Dayton Porchfest – St. Anne's Hill, Dayton, OH
  The historic St. Anne's Hill district hosts a unique event every year with Dayton Porchfest, which includes summer concerts that are a little different than what you might be used to at other events. That's because each performance is a mini-concert, and the shows take place on porches all around the district. It's a great excuse to explore a historic, scenic part of the city while discovering the deep roots and diverse influences of the local music scene. This year's Dayton Porchfest takes place August 16, 2025, with concerts from 12:15 – 6:45 PM and an Afterfest at 7:00 PM at Levitt Pavilion.

• 2nd Street Market – 600 E. 2nd St., Dayton OH 45402
  The 2nd Street Market is an excellent farmer's market that's typically open from morning through early afternoon, but did you know that they'll also be hosting special Sunset Markets on select dates throughout the summer? These special evening/night markets feature extended hours on select Thursday evenings from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, with all of your favorite vendors present as well as extensive options for a fresh, delicious dinner. Sunset Markets for summer 2025 will be taking place on July 17, August 21, and September 18, with one final, early-fall date on October 16.

• Eichelberger Concert Series – 134 S. Main St., Dayton, OH 45402
  Every summer, the Eichelberger Concert Series brings local, national, and international bands to the stage at Levitt Pavilion all summer long. There are more than 50 concerts in the Eichelberger Concert Series for summer 2025, on dates all throughout the summer. The best part? All concerts in the series are free to attend. Live theater is also part of the series, including Shakespeare's Macbeth for summer 2025.
